About Us

Founded in 1972 by Karl J. Kaussen, Ph.D, Biotext has been operating under its present name since 1999 and has rapidly emerged as a major provider of translation services in the fields of health care, pharmaceutical trials, medical equipment, and biotechnology research. With a network of linguists and technical professionals worldwide, Biotext offers translations from any source language into any target language. Specializing in healthcare and biotechnology, our professionals excel in translating a wide range of medical documents. We strive to adapt technical terminology into a linguistic style that resonates with everyday language while remaining culturally appropriate and sensitive to diverse audiences.

Our mission at Biotext is to adapt texts to the diverse audiences of the medical field, ensuring literary accuracy while creating clear and accessible healthcare literature. The increasing number of foreign language-speaking immigrants and naturalized citizens in the United States, coupled with rapid advancements in medical science and technology, has highlighted the need for effective communication among scientists, healthcare professionals, and the general public. With access to over 4,000 translators worldwide, Biotext prides itself on offering the fastest turnaround time among California's translation service providers. We understand that translating medical and healthcare texts from English into other languages involves understanding not just linguistic differences and similarities between languages, but also the gap between everyday language and specialized terminology. Our translators meticulously consider these interlingual transfer rules, encompassing everything from phonological to discourse elements, to ensure accurate and accessible translations. While technical texts may be rich in scientific terms, our goal is to maintain clarity and accessibility for readers across various socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
